Experiences is an online service from RentExperience that enables their guests to discover, compare, and book apartment services and experiences. The website offers a variety of services made available by third-party suppliers through RentExperience Lda. and its affiliates’ websites.

The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “RentExperience” refer to RENTXPERIENCE LDA, a Portuguese corporation. The term “you” refers to the user visiting the Website.

These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”), together with our Privacy Policy apply to any use of the Website. Everybody may use the Website on condition that they accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Any use of the Website means you have read and understood the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by the Agreement. Please read the Agreement carefully.

We may change the Agreement at any time. Your continued access to this Website after such change signifies your acceptance of the updated Agreement. The date that revisions were last made to the Agreement are noted at the top of this page. Please make sure you are aware of the most current version of the Agreement.

Use of the Website

As a condition of your use of the Website, you warrant that all information given by you is accurate, current and complete. You also warrant your use of this Website is intended for personal, noncommercial use to make legitimate requests to book the services and experiences offered. You will not use this Website to make any false or fraudulent requests.


The purpose of the website is to provide the best services and experiences exclusively to guests being hosted in one of the company´s apartments. The website allows anyone to book a service or experience. Therefore if you are not a RentExperience´s client we won´t be able to give you the proper customer care service in any circumstance.

Privacy policy

RentExperience aims to protect your privacy. Here you can find our current Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of this Website.

Prohibited activities

The content and information on this Website (including, but not limited to, data, text, photos, graphics, video, software, code or other material), as well as the infrastructure used, is proprietary to us. You agree not to modify, copy, reproduce, publish, or sell any content and information obtained through this Website. Any use of RentExperience content requires the prior written permission of RentExperience.

User accounts

You do not need to create an account to use the features on the Website. To use the booking feature of this Website, all THE information WE NEED is your name, e-mail address, phone number and the proper information about the apartment you are staying. Payment data is managed by Stripe, a third-party.

Electronic communications

By using the Website, or by sending e-mails, text messages, and ANY other communications from any device to us, you agree that we may communicate with you in a variety of ways, like by e-mail, in-app push notices, or by posting notices and messages on the Website. You can unsubscribe from e-mail communications by clicking to the unsubscribe button on the bottom of the newsletter.

No warranty

We strive for accurate information on the Website is accurate, yet we do not provide any warranties in relation to its correctness, completeness, currentness, reliability for any purpose. We may edit, add or remove information on the Website and its structure and functions at any time at our sole discretion, without informing of any such change.

We do not provide any warranties in relation to the availability of the Website or its functions. Nor do we provide any warranties that the Website is free from defects or that the Website and its infrastructure is free from viruses and other harmful software.

Intellectual property rights

The Website is and remains protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. You acquire no rights in the Website, and in any names and distinctive signs of any nature published on the Website. You may access and view the Website, but not incorporate it into other websites, and not copy, publish, download, upload, send or make it perceptible in any other way without our prior written consent.

RentExperience makes use of CREATIVE COMMONS photographs to help provide visual context and inspiration for the services and experiences. As such, we are thankful to the worldwide CREATIVE COMMONS community of fantastic photographers. In case an author does not feel comfortable having their photographs on this Website for whatever reason, we will act accordingly. By hiring a service or booking an experience through the Website, you accept the practices described in our Privacy Policy and this Agreement. RentExperience is not a travel agency and does not provide or own experiences or other travel experiences. RentExperience displays information about experiences offered by third-party suppliers and facilitates bookings for those suppliers. RentExperience is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of information it obtains from third-party suppliers.

If you book an experience through the Website, you are bound by the supplier’s terms and conditions. Your interactions with third-party suppliers are at your own risk. RentExperience has no liability regarding the acts, errors, warranties, breaches or negligence of third-party suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages resulting from your interactions with third-party suppliers.

Rescheduling a booking

All requests for rescheduling your booking should be directed to the RentExperience customer care team. See the section “Payment & Cancellations” below for additional information with respect to cancelling a booking.

We do not charge a fee to change the dates of an existing booking, as long as the request is received by our customer care team more than 3 days ahead of your confirmed previous date for the service or experience. If you request a date change within 3 days or less of your confirmed date, we will attempt to honor your request; but these changes may be subject to an additional fee according to each supplier’s policies.

If you make a booking using a RentExperience promotion code or if you use special-offer price, you may invalidate your discount or special offer price by making changes to the date of your booking.

Our suppliers make occasional changes to the dates, prices, inclusions, requirements, and other features and of the experiences. As a result, RentExperience reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any experience that you have booked, for any reason, at any time. In such cases, if you are dissatisfied with the alternatives offered, you are entitled to a full refund of the original price.

Payments & Cancellations

When you book an experience through the Website, RentExperience collects your payment information and processes your payment as described under “Payment Processing”. RentExperience accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. You can also pay using iDeal and Paypal, among others. There is no charge or service fee for processing payments. Full payment is required to make a booking.

No refunds are available once an experience has commenced. Canceling a booking can result in cancellation fees being applied. If you cancel at least 2 days in advance of the scheduled service or experience, there is no cancellation fee. When cancelling within 2 days of the scheduled service or experience, there is a 100% cancellation fee. When canceling any booking you will be notified via email or telephone of the total cancellation fees.

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, currency exchange or other fees, so there may be differences between the amount displayed on RentExperience and the final amount charged to your bank account statement.

Payment processing

The payment processing services for service or experience booked on the Website are provided by Stripe. Stripe helps 100,000+ businesses in 100+ countries and across nearly every industry with their payment processes. Headquartered in San Francisco, Stripe has 9 offices worldwide. By using Stripe, we achieve PCI-DSS compliance for our payments. No sensitive data hits our servers, so it’s more secure for you and us.

Pricing & inclusions / exclusions

Prices listed on the Website include VAT unless otherwise specified. Prices may change without notice until a service or experience has been confirmed. Prices do not include tips/gratuities to tour operators and any beverages or food not specifically listed under “Inclusions” on the descriptions of the service or experience on the Website.

RentExperience liability

We try to ensure that all information on the Website is accurate, yet we do not provide any warranties in relation to the availability of the Website or its functions, that the Website is free from defects, or that the Website and its infrastructure is free from viruses. The content and information on this Website may include inaccuracies, including reservation availability and pricing errors. RentExperience does not guarantee the accuracy of and disclaims all liability for, any inaccuracies relating to the descriptions of the sea experiences displayed on this Website (including pricing, availability, pictures, features, inclusions, and exclusions, etc.). RentExperience reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies in the descriptions of the experiences on the Website, at any time.

The third-party suppliers providing services or experiences on this Website are independent contractors and not agents or employees of RentExperience. RentExperience strives to only work with the best service providers and tour operators to assure excellent experiences for you. Yet, RentExperience is not reliable for the acts, errors or misconduct of any such suppliers or for personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages resulting from your booking of an experience through this Website. RentExperience has no liability and will not make any refunds in the event of any delay, overbooking or other causes beyond our direct control. Only in the case of Force Majeure, RentExperience, after first attempting to reschedule or find an alternative experience, will fully refund.

We do not assume any responsibility for third-party content that may be available on the Website and for content linked to the Website. We do not endorse such content and do not have any liability relating to it. You use third-party websites at your own risk. Software Available on this Website

The Website is made available solely to provide information regarding and to promote RentExperience’s services, websites, partners and sea experiences. All Software, including, all code is owned by RentExperience and is protected by copyright laws. Any reproduction or redistribution of the Software is prohibited.
